OUR AGREEMENT

Terms of Guidance

Effective October 9,2026

Quiet Regards provides information about its services through quietregards.com. Sending an inquiry does not establish a client relationship or reserve services. A separate client service agreement is required before paid work begins.

Scope of support

Quiet Regards offers nonmedical end-of-life doula support. Depending on the person’s wishes and the services agreed upon, this may include listening, emotional support, family conversations, life review, legacy projects, organizing personal wishes, preparing questions for professionals, and identifying resources.

Quiet Regards does not provide medical, nursing, psychological, legal, tax, insurance, or financial services. We do not diagnose or treat conditions, interpret medical information, provide psychotherapy, draft legal documents, or advise on the legal effect of advance directives. We do not make decisions for a person or speak on their behalf without appropriate permission.

We do not provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, feeding, dressing, lifting, or transferring a person. We do not manage or administer medication, provide wound care, or perform care after death. Quiet Regards is not a replacement for a caregiver, home health provider, hospice team, or needed supervision.

We may decline or pause a request that falls outside our role, cannot be provided safely, or requires a qualified professional.

Emergencies and availability

Quiet Regards does not provide emergency response or continuous crisis coverage. For an immediate emergency, call 911. Direct urgent medical questions to the healthcare team. Seek a qualified mental health professional or crisis service for urgent mental health needs.

Availability, visit times, and communication boundaries are established in the separate client service agreement.

Client decisions and outside providers

The person receiving support directs their own choices. When someone else has legal authority to act, we work within that authority and the permissions established for the engagement. Referrals are offered for consideration; clients decide whether to contact or hire an outside provider. We do not guarantee a particular outcome.

Text-message terms

If you check the optional text consent box on our form, Quiet Regards may send messages about your inquiry, scheduling, appointment reminders, and service arrangements. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to texts is not required to submit an inquiry or purchase services.

Reply STOP to a Quiet Regards text to opt out. You may receive a confirmation of the opt-out. Reply HELP for assistance or email [email protected]. Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how mobile information is handled.
